Seaford Rambling Club
Walking Procedures from January 2022

1. The Club will continue to follow government guidance in respect of Covid 19 together with advice from Ramblers UK.
2. Prospective new members should contact Sue Belchamber on 01323 873579 who will arrange a taster walk.
3. Club members must judge for themselves, in the light of their own health, what degree of risk they are running if they choose to walk with us as explained below.
4. Walk numbers may be limited: numbers will be determined by the Leader.
5. Walkers will be responsible for maintaining social distance when this is necessary. It is not the job of the Walk Leader to police this - although reminders may be spoken from time to time. The distance to be observed should be in accordance with government guidelines. The lunch stop may be chosen so that social distancing is possible.
6. All walkers should bring their own hand sanitizer.
7. All walkers should bring their own face covering. These will not be worn whilst walking, they are a precaution in the event that a Walk Leader needs to get close to give First Aid.
8. NO CLUB MEMBER SHOULD WALK IF THEY HAVE SYMPTONS OF COVID. Pull out if you develop symptoms.
9. If symptoms develop after a walk, members MUST get tested and must notify the Club before and after testing.
